• A 30th Anniversary logo has been created to celebrate this event. During the 2006-2007 academic year this official 30th Anniversary logo will be used in the student's parking permit.

  • Establishment of a Distinguished Seminar Series. The Coop Program will coordinate with its industry friends so that distinguished practicing engineers will give educational seminars that address important contemporary scientific and engineering advances. Seminars will be provided at once per month basis beginning in April 2006.
  • Identification of a "Distinguished COOP Alumni". A nominations process will be established so that our company partners can nominate present or past coop students. The selection will be announced in September 2006. These students will be recognized at our Anniversary celebration ceremony.
  • A celebration ceremony will be held Saturday, October 7, 2006, coinciding with the big annual UPRM Job Fair. The Distinguished Coop Awards will be presented at this ceremony. Current students, alumni, and our industry friends will be invited to participate.
